• Facility Security Assessment (FSA) & Facility Security Plan (FSP): As set forth in 33 CFR 105 and ISPS A/15 & A/16, the Facility Security Plan ensures the application of measures designed to protect the facility, persons, cargo, cargo transport units and Vessel’s stores within the Facility from the risks of a security incident. TSS consultants have authored well over 100 Facility Security Assessments and Plans for major U.S. and International ports, cruise and cargo client facilities. All TSS FSP’s include a proven 4-step process and template which includes the On Scene Security Survey, FSA, FSP, and approval.
• Ship/Vessel Security Assessment (SSA/VSA) & Ship/Vessel Security Plan (SSP/VSP): As set forth in 33 CFR 104 and ISPS A/8 & A/9, the Ship/Vessel Security Plan ensures the application of security measures designed to protect the vessel and the facility that the vessel is servicing or interacting with, the vessel's cargoes, and persons on board at the respective MARSEC Levels. TSS consultants have authored Vessel & Ship Security Assessments and Plans for a wide variety of foreign flagged ships and U.S. flagged vessels to include bulk cargo & container carriers, seagoing tugs, ATB’s, oil tankers, etc. All TSS S/VSP’s include a proven 4-step process and template which includes the On Scene Security Survey, S/VSA, S/VSP, and flag state approval (ISSC).

• 3rd Party Ship/Vessel and Facility Security Plan Audit: As set forth in 33 CFR 104.415(b) & 105.415(b) and ISPS B/9 & B/16, an audit is an evaluation of a security assessment or security plan performed by an approved third-party, intended to identify deficiencies, non-conformities and/or inadequacies that would render the assessment or plan insufficient. Audits, which are required to be conducted on an annual basis, are a critical part of any Ship, Fleet or Facility security program. TSS audits follow a proven step-by-step and proprietary process and template.

• Drills & Exercises: As set forth in 33 CFR 104.230 & 105.220 and ISPS B/13.5 – 13.8 & 18.4 – 18.6, an exercise is a comprehensive training event that involves several of the functional elements of the SSP/VSP or FSP and tests communications, coordination, resource availability, and response while a drill is a training event that tests an individual component of an SSP/VSP or FSP and is used to maintain a high level of security readiness. TSS authors and facilitates quarterly drills and annual exercises for individual vessels, vessel fleets, ports and facilities by way of a proven process and template.
